The plot of the film was based on the novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. The main character of the film works as an ordinary clerk in one of the major corporations, and leads a very boring lifestyle. The only entertainment for him is buying furniture from catalogs. But one day everything changes dramatically, after the hero meets Tyler Durden, a man very different from him, denying the established stereotypes. They begin to communicate, and soon the hero accepts Tyler's philosophy of life. One day, the guys find a new way to have fun, and begin to fight violently, no matter where they are. After a while, they organize a secret Fight Club, where everyone in the fight can let off steam...
